About the Role
The Intake Specialist serves as the first point of contact for potential clients. This position plays a critical role in building trust and ensuring clients feel supported from their very first interaction.
You will speak with individuals who have experienced serious injuries, including:
- Car accidents
- Bicycle and pedestrian accidents
- Medical malpractice
Many callers are overwhelmed and unsure what to do next, making empathy and clarity essential.
This role is fully remote and requires:
- A quiet, private workspace
- Camera-on participation during work hours
Key Responsibilities
- Answer incoming calls, emails, and web inquiries
- Conduct intake interviews and gather detailed case information
- Evaluate potential cases using firm criteria
- Maintain accurate records and organized notes
- Open and manage new client files
- Follow up promptly with prospective clients
- Collaborate with attorneys and case managers
- Assist with administrative tasks as needed
Qualifications
- Extroverted and energized by frequent phone conversations
- Strong verbal communication and active listening skills
- Emotionally steady and comfortable speaking with individuals in crisis
- Ability to multitask and manage multiple priorities
- Comfortable learning and using new technology
- Proficient in Microsoft Office products
- Personal injury or legal intake experience preferred but not required
